I have had many activities this year, I started off new professional challenges, I had to take up on more responsibilities and as a whole, this year has been very hectic in professional terms.
By January, I was wanting to go back to teaching at university; at the time I was teaching training courses for professionals and working for several big and important companies. I had the chance of meeting a lot of new people, I could learn many new things related to all the areas my students used to work in… but in my heart there was a crave for academic life, and so I went back to teaching (different from training).
Even though there have been very many situations I have to be thankful for, there have also been other negative issues, many of them cannot be told, but some others are widely spread gossips already! LOL
The hardest part of the year was when I finished an over-three-years relationship, it matched with my changing job period so, since I was so concentrated on teaching, I did not suffer the traumatizing mourning process, though still I felt it. I took up on more activities, I got to meet new people and I could eventually broaden the circle of friends, which helped me overcome my loss more easily.
Well, as you may see, this year has been intense and dynamic, I believe it is better this way because there is less time to complain about the bad situations and perhaps more motivations to go on and excel at one's passion, in my case: teaching.
